What do you do when you're a millionaire and engaged? Build your own chapel to get married in, of course.
According to reports today, Ed is planning to build his own little chapel on his East Anglia estate.
The Belfast Telegraph claim that Ed has submitted a planning application to Suffolk Coastal District Council.
It would made of flint and would have a rounded tower at the top. It also states in the documents that it would hold a small party of roughly 24 with 'some overspill space in the gallery.'
The planning application states 'it is every person’s right to be able to have a place of retreat for contemplation and prayer, for religious observance, celebration of key life and family milestones, marriages, christenings and so forth.'
A decision on whether or not this will go ahead is expected in April.
Ed had recently sparked rumours that he had married Cherry Seaborn in secret after he was spotted wearing a ring on his wedding finger at a charity gig in London. However, Ed cleared those rumours up to Sky News on the red carpet of the BRITs saying that it was 'an engagement ring'.
If Ed gets the go-ahead, he would still need to apply for a wedding licence to tie the knot here.
