Ed Sheeran and Lionel Richie have plans to hit the studio together, once they're both finished with their tours.
The pair met and hit it off at the Ivor Novello songwriter awards yesterday, and Lionel confirmed that he would love to do some songwriting with Ed Sheeran.
Speaking to The Sun, Lionel admitted that his next big project involves Ed.
'I was a little dumbstruck meeting him tonight. There’s Ed over there and he’s looking at me and I’m looking at Ed. It’s a mutual admiration society. The first thing you say is, ‘Do you think you might want to . . . ?’ And the answer was, ‘Of course.'
Usually one to keep fairly quiet on social media, Ed shared a picture with his good pal Stormzy at the awards, after they both scooped up an Ivor Novello.
