As if fans weren't excited enough about the Mamma Mia sequel, producers have gone and expanded the cast!
It's been reported that Cher will join the likes of Meryl Streep, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan for a sing-a-long on the big screen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the details of her character and her connection to the plot are very much being kept quiet until a little bit closer to the movie.
The cat was let out of the bag by Cher herself on Twitter. She posted a snap of disco-esque silver, starry boots. In a separate tweet she wrote the word 'Fernando' and the lyrics from the song 'The roar of guns and cannons almost made me cry.'
