Cardi B has been receiving death threats after an Instagram caption she posted appeared to diss one of America's most notorious gangs.
The caption which Crips took issue with has since been deleted but the image of her in a blue fur coat remains.
The caption read "I hate wearing Flue but this coat was too poppin @iamjenniferle".
"Flue" is a way to slate blue, the Crips colour, without mentioning it.
The diss led to a tirade of abuse in the comments section that escalated to death threats.
Comments have since been disabled on the post.
Some commenters called the post "West Coast suicide" and told the artist to get "neutral".
The Bodak Yellow singer is set to visit the West Coast next week for an NBA All-Star game in LA.
The threats come the same week J-LO confirmed her collaboration with Cardi B on a track called Dinero.
