Boyzone have confirmed that their next album will be their last.

It was reported yesterday the boyband were going to split, and they've since tweeted "The news is out and yes, it's true".

They also say the last 25 years together have been "amazing" and that their remaining 12 months will be their "biggest and best" yet.

The band tweeted this to their fans last night:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="und" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/bz25?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#bz25</a> <a href="https://t.co/WiOzImm5rm">pic.twitter.com/WiOzImm5rm</a></p>&mdash; Boyzone (@theREALboyzone) <a href="https://twitter.com/theREALboyzone/status/991009487485095936?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 30, 2018</a></blockquote>
