Ant McPartlin has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash involving three vehicles in south-west London.
A number of people were treated for minor injuries in Richmond yesterday.
A child in one of the cars was taken to hospital for a check up as a precaution.
McPartlin, who co-hosts several ITV shows with Declan Donnelly, including I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, confirmed in January he was divorcing his wife of 11 years, Lisa Armstrong.
The 42 year old also spent two months in rehab last year after admitting his painkiller and alcohol addiction.
