'Mini Me' actor Verne Troyer has died.
He was 49.
The news was announced on his social media channels overnight.
At 2-foot-8 inches tall, he was best known for his role as Doctor Evil's small and silent sidekick in the Austin Powers movies.
He loved being part of the Mike Myers franchise.
He also appeared in the first Harry Potter movie.
The cause of his death hasn't been announced.
But writing on Instagram, his family says 'Depression and Suicide are very serious issues'.
His publicist says he'd gone through 'a recent time of adversity'.
