Ashley told Sarina, on Saturday’s Plan B, that the disappointment was replaced with excitement when Drake discovered the show on Netflix and tweeted Ashley to tell him he was a big fan.

Ashley was thrilled to see that fans outside of the UK were connecting with the show.

Top Boy is Back

There were a few years of chat about the possibility of bringing the show back but then there was also radio silence about it for about 18 months.

Ashley said that it was great to have Drake on board because he never tried to change the show – he just wanted it back and for it to be as relevant as it always was.

Even though Ashley was looking forward to going back to playing Dushane, he found the experience to be both traumatic and fun.

Top Boy season 3?

He can’t comment on whether or not there will be another season of Top Boy but he assured us that fans will not be disappointed with Season 3.

Like fan, he (and his family) will be bingeing the latest season of Top Boy.
