A video of the brawl went viral over the weekend.
A former All-Ireland winner is calling for bans for those involved in a GAA melee.
An Under-15 match between Carnew and Kilcoole of Wicklow came to blows on Saturday.
Video footage shows players and club members engaging in a brawl on the pitch.
Former Galway footballer Ray Silke says there needs to be consequences.
The Wicklow GAA video is a disgrace
What should happen & what will happen is the real issue.
I cannot recall the last time I heard a sanction for thuggish behaviour (on or off field) & thought “that’s very harsh”
The GAA needs to get real in how they deal with these incidents

"The county chairman, Martin Fitzgerald in Wicklow, he has a job of work to do there," Silke said.
"I wouldn't ban the clubs," he added. "Maybe fines for the clubs."
"The people that can be identified in that video clip should be banned from the GAA for a minimum of five years."
"When I say personal responsibility, I think everyone involved in the GAA, you can't allow that to happen."
An investigation is underway by the Wicklow County Board with sanctions likely imminent.
