This is one of the most bizarre things we've ever heard.

Last weekend, a huge party took place in the UK, and neighbours were forced to listen to hundreds of rowdy party goers until the early hours.

According to the Islington Gazette, around 200 people crammed into a one bedroom Airbnb apartment in Canonbury for a party, that came with all of the nightclub trimmings - including a bouncer and DJ.

The people who were renting the property at the time, placed a bouncer at the door of the apartment and charged an entry fee.

The locals were raging, one said 'It sounded like Fabric was upstairs. It was just the constant bass thud. We saw one guy carrying in DJ equipment.'

The party allegedly lasted into the early hours, ending at approx 6am.

Islington's community safety boss said 'Our out-of-hours anti-social behaviour team investigates noise complaints. They went to this property but found themselves in an aggressive situation, involving many people outside. Our officers could not enter safely and had to call police for assistance. Because of the numbers involved, extra police then had to be requested and, as a result of this action, the party closed and all left.'

However, Scotland Yard’s press office later said 'no criminal offences were apparent' and cops 'maintained a presence until the party concluded.'
