McDonald's Reveals The Six Dublin Outlets Which Are Reopening

The six McDonald's outlets reopening have been revealed

Today six McDonald’s restaurants across Dublin will reopen Drive Thru only from 11am-10pm with new measures in place.

The following branches will reopen:

  • Nutgrove Shopping Centre, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14
  • Kylemore Road, Dublin 12
  • East Wall Road, Dublin 3
  • Artane Castle Shopping Centre, Dublin 5
  • Coolock Retail Park, Dublin 17
  • Belgard Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24

McDonald’s has introduced a number of changes to restaurants, including:

  • Capped spend in Drive Thrus at €30 per car and customers are encouraged to pay by contactless payment methods wherever possible.
  • Perspex screens at Drive Thru windows and employees wearing protective equipment.
  • All McDonald’s employees will be asked to confirm they are fit and able to work
  • Contactless thermometers will be used to take employee temperatures upon arrival at work for every shift.
  • Social distancing has been introduced in the kitchens and service areas to help create a safe working environment.
  • Restaurants will return with smaller teams, offering a limited menu.

As employees and the business adapt to a new way of working, McDonald’s would like to thank customers for their continued support and patience.

McDonald’s aims to open all Drive Thrus in Ireland and the UK in early June.
