Some McDonald's restaurants also allowing walk-in takeaway services

McDonald's has announced five restaurants will pilot the return of its breakfast menu.

The trial will use a limited menu and reduced hours, with a view to rolling it out across the country later this Summer.

The outlets will trial the breakfast service, which opened from 7am this morning, are the following;

  • Nutgrove Shopping Centre
  • Kylemore Road
  • Artane Castle Shopping Centre
  • Coolock Retail Park, Malahide Road.
  • Belgard Road, Tallaght

As well as this, other outlets around the country will be allowing customers to collect their food by walking into the restaurants.

McDonalds has also provided a list of guidelines, which includes the following:

  • McDonald’s will provide clear signposting and floor-markings to create a one-way system around restaurants.
  • Limited numbers will be allowed inside, with customers encouraged to visit alone to collect their food where possible.
  • For those visiting with children, play areas and digital play areas will remain closed.
  • Restaurant seating areas, customer toilets and lifts will remain closed.
  • To help protect employees and other customers, McDonald’s asks their customers not to visit if they feel unwell.
