Hairdressers are worried about 'black market services'

There are calls for hairdressers to be allowed to reopen earlier than currently planned.

Salons aren't due to reopen until phase 4 of the Government's roadmap plan, which will be on July 20th.

However the Irish Hairdressers Federation thinks it should be brought forward to avoid a surge in black market services.

David Campbell from the IHF says he's worried some may be tempted to do call-outs now that travel restrictions have been extended.

They're asking to move to phase 3 of the plan, which would mean reopening on June 20th.
