The new film is based on the successful book franchise of the same name.
It tells the story of a group of reformed, yet misunderstood criminal animals who attempt to become good.

Sarina caught up with director Pierre Perifel, who makes his feature animated film debut with The Bad Guys.
Pierre shared why he was blown away when he first saw the book's cover.
