According to the Daily Mail, Comic book creator and executive producer of the series Robert Kirkman confirmed that Andrew Lincoln, who plays the role of Rick Grimes in the hit TV show, will be leaving in the first half of the season.  

On the 11th July they revealed a first look image of the new season.
