Due to the global pandemic, the feature's release has been pushed back so many times we've lost count.

Its latest release date is April 2nd 2021, but it looks like that could change.

Several sources told Deadline that it's looking like we won't get to see it until later in the year.

The publication also heard the movie's promotional partners have already been notified of this.

Deadline say reports of a further delay emerged earlier in the week thanks to Dutch site BN DeStem.

Dutch exhibitor Carlo Lambregts said he had heard the movie's release was being moved from April to November.

MGM apparently screened the movie for streamers, and reportedly asked for $600M for it.

However, none of them were willing to pay even half of that price.

As a result, they're waiting to release it in cinemas.

And judging by the trailer, he's going out in style.

The trailer is packed full of action, romance and classic Bond charm.

So who will play the role next?

Reports suggest Tom Hardy is next in line.
