Love Island gave us one of the most dramatic episodes of the series last night.
Up until now, most people have been rooting for Alex. Viewers rejoiced on Friday night when he coupled up with Ellie, and we all thought this was the real deal.
However, Alex pointed out that since the recoupling, he felt that Ellie made little to no effort with him and accused her of being rude and playing games.He confronted her and all hell broke loose.
Ellie told him 'I don’t think there’s any sexual chemistry between us. I’m sitting here now ending something with somebody who I know has got a kind heart, I know is genuine and it hasn’t been an easy thing for me to do, so yeah…'

As expected, Twitter was lit with reactions, and it seems opinions are really divided.

#LoveIsland right then it's pretty obvious that Ellie used Alex to stay in the villa and all Alex did was question why she's suddenly gone off him after the recoupling. He's not desperate he just has enough brain cells to see that she's playing him.
