We only made the connection today, and our minds are blown.

Claudia starred alongside Thandie Newton, who played her boss, DCI Roz Huntley in the series.

To be honest, nobody liked DC Jodie Taylor.

She sucked up to Huntley and would have done anything for her.

And that didn't sit well with viewers at home.

Claudia Jessie on the other hand, was fantastic in the role.

So good in fact, that she landed the part of Eloise Bridgerton in the new Shondaland Netflix series Bridgerton.

She stars alongside Irish actress Nicola Coughlan, who plays her best friend Penelope.

And it turns out they've become best friends in real life.

The Galway native gushed over her co-star in an interview with SPIN recently.

"Claudia and I had met prior to being cast as best friends," Nicola revealed.

"She's so sweet, she's so funny, so like getting to play that with her was easy."

About Bridgerton

Set in the early 1800s, Bridgerton follows the story of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family.

Her whole world changes as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market.

She dreams of following in her parent’s footsteps by finding a match sparked by true love.

But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown (voiced by Julie Andrews) casts aspersions on Daphne.

Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page).

He's a committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas.

Despite proclaiming that they have nothing to offer one another, their attraction is undeniable.

They soon find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future.

Bridgerton is streaming on Netflix now.
