Arabella and Tom dumped from Love Island

Love Island contestants Arabella and Tom were dumped from the villa during last night's episode.

This leaves both Danny and Maura single. Here's what the pair had to say following their sudden exit:

Arabella Chi

Age: 28

Hometown: London

Career: Model

The model who was coupled up with Danny in the villa, says the whole experience was one she'll never forget.

'I would have loved to have stayed longer and carried on the journey with Danny, and kept getting to know him better...'

'But on the whole it was an amazing experience which I’ll never forget.'

She goes on, 'My time in the villa was eventful, it was full of a lot of emotions, and I met some friends for life, especially Lucie.'

'I had an amazing time, it was the experience of a lifetime, which was why I signed up.'

Highlights

She says she was surprised by her friendship with Lucie.

'The highlights were becoming so close to Lucie, which was a bit of a shock to me.'

'She was the one I thought I might have less of a friendship with because of having dated the same guy outside of the villa (Charlie Frederick).'

'Obviously getting to know Danny on a romantic level as well. Every day with Danny we were getting closer and closer to one another.'

'I found somebody that I had a romantic connection with. I was attracted to him before I even went in the villa.'

'Getting to know him more and more those feelings developed every day.'

Game playing

When asked if she thinks there's anyone in the villa playing a game, she says, 'no I actually don't.'

'Having got to know everybody in such a short space of time, I wouldn’t say anyone in there is a game player.'

'All their feelings are genuine. I would maybe say Amber and Michael may struggle when they are tested.'

'They are quite different in their personalities and Amber isn’t as open as Michael.'

'They will either be made much stronger as a result of being tested, or will go the other way.'

Challenges

She says the biggest challenge she faced in the villa was, 'taking Danny from Yewande.'

'I knew there would be friction but at one point it felt like the villa was very divided, after Yewande left.'

'It felt like I was being looked at as a big bad wolf, even though I had just gone in there and followed my feelings.'

Arabella thinks that out of all the couples, Amy and Curtis are the strongest.

'I feel like Amy is a bit misunderstood but when you’re with her 24/7 you can see how into each other they are.'

'They just connect. They are different but the same. Their quirkiness makes them who they are.'

No regrets

She says if she was given the chance to go back, she one million percent would.

However, there's nothing she would do differently, 'Going in there I knew it would be difficult going for Danny but I did it the right way.'

'I had a chat with Yewande first. All the girls reassured me when I left that I had done everything right.'

'I feel like everybody saw me and Danny blossom so will understand we were right for each other.'

Arabella says she knew she was at risk of being dumped because she was the newest islander.

'If there was one person they would miss the least it would be me. I was still surprised though.'

'I think the boys thought the girls would choose Danny, because of the Yewande situation.'

The question on everyone's mind now is will Danny stay? Well, even Arabella doesn't know the answer to that.

'I don’t know if Danny will stay now I’ve gone. That decision is with him.'

'He was gutted when I left and said I had given him the best week of his life. It’s up to him though.'

'If he does stay he might be scared of jeopardising things with us.'

Tom Walker

Age: 29

Hometown: Leeds

Career: Model

The islander's shock dumping came just after he and Maura had a massive fight and called off their fling.

He says there were, 'lots of highs and a couple of lows,' during his time on the show.

'The highs outweighed the lows though. I had a great time in there.'

'We kept saying ‘too blessed to be stressed.’ Everyone in there appreciates where they’re at.'

Highlights

Tom says the highlight of the whole experience was the bond he had with the other boys, 'We had a great laugh.'

He goes on, 'The challenges were exciting. The whole experience was a good one.'

The former islander slipped up a few times. First, he was caught telling the boys that it'll be interesting to see if Maura's, 'all mouth.'

And he was also caught calling her 'OTT' and 'cringey.'

He explains, 'I said what I said about her being OTT etc because it was early days and I was sound boarding off people.'

'I perhaps should have just been straight from the off.'

He says if he was given another chance, there's nothing he would have changed.

'Maura was the one that I felt the closest connection to. There wasn’t really another option.'

The villa boys

Tom and Jordan made their bombshell appearances last week and he says they bonded because of that.

'Obviously going in with Jordan, we had an instant bond. Me and Anton got on really well, Danny and I had a lot in common.'

'Curtis is a great guy. They all have good hearts and great banter.'

Game playing

Tom seems unsure when asked if there's anyone playing games in the villa.

'I didn’t think so but then off the back of the Twitter challenge the other day with the comments about Molly-Mae, there were a few seeds planted.'

'Whether she’s changed and fallen in love with Tommy, only they know. I didn’t see it initially for myself though.'

Tom says there are four really good and genuine couples in the villa right now.

'Curtis and Amy, who seem really solid. Michael and Amber. Michael really likes Amber. She keeps him on his toes but I think she really likes him.'

'I’m not sure about Jordan and Anna because it’s so fresh but he does really like her. '

'Tommy and Molly-Mae spend so much time together. They’re like the same person.'

'It’s rare you get Tommy by himself without Molly-Mae being there. They seem really legit.'

Tom says he wasn't ready to leave the villa and he would '100%' go back if given the chance.

And he says there's a few things he would do differently, 'Obviously the Hideaway comment.'

'I just got ahead of myself and I made an out of character remark.'

Surprise, surprise

Tom says he really wasn't expecting to be dumped from the villa, 'I didn’t expect to go. We knew something was going to happen.'

'Caroline hadn’t dropped in for a while. But I thought maybe some new guys were coming in.'

'I didn’t see a dumping like that coming. I thought it was between me and Danny when it came to it.'

We're expecting to see the return of Casa Amor on tonight's episode of Love Island.

Meet the 12 new bombshell arrivals here.

Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two tonight from 9pm.
