Filming Has Begun On Maleficent 2

Maleficent 2 is now in production, and Disney fans worldwide are extremely excited. 

Disney confirmed the news on Twitter yesterday, and announced that Michelle Pfeiffer is joining the cast for the sequel as Queen Ingrith.

Elle Fanning shared the first look at herself and Angelina Jolie in the movie. Taking to Instagram she joked that it was 'bring your mom to work day.'

Also returning for the sequel are Sam Riley as the raven Diaval. Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville as the Fairy Godmothers. There's also some extra new faces coming on board - Ed Skrein (Game of Thrones) Robert Lindsay (Jericho) and Academy Award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor.

At the moment, Maleficent 2 doesn't have a release date but we'll keep you posted on that. Given that it's still in production stages, we'll have to watch the first one on repeat for a little while to fill the void.
