It's a jam-packed Late Late Show this evening.

As the country goes to the polls to vote on the referendum on the 8th amendment, the Late Late Show will reveal the results of a nationwide Exit Poll live on air. Prime Time’s David McCullagh will reveal the result of the overall Yes/No Exit Poll question, as soon as it becomes available.

Jason Byrne will appear tonight. He will be joined by the Après Match team, Barry Murphy, Risteárd Cooper and Gary Cooke.

Emmet Kirwan is on the show, too. He became one of the voices of his generation last year when his powerful take on the state of the nation Heartbreak went viral.

He went on to make waves as part of theatrical sensation RIOT and now he has co-written and starred in a brand new movie Dublin Oldschool which promises to be the capital city’s Trainspotting. He’ll be telling Late Late host Ryan Tubridy what it was like to star in a movie shot in the city he loves.

Bestselling author Lorna Byrne is known around the world for her books on angels. She joins Ryan on Friday night to discuss her new book Prayers from the Heart.

When eight-year-old artist Roisin Tansey appeared on The Late Late Show last year, she captured the hearts of the nation. She’s back with a very special project to be revealed live on air.

In a week when the country is reeling from the murders of Ana Kriegel and Jastine Valdez, viewers will hear from Ruth Maxwell, who was subject to a random attack in Clondalkin in 2016.

The High Kings and An Emotional Fish will provide the music.

Catch the Late Late Show on RTE1 at 9:35 tonight.
