It seems every film is getting the live-action treatment these days.
The Disney classic Mulan is the latest to be transformed into a real-life action film and Chinese actress Liu Yifei has been cast as the lead role.
A massive search for the main role of Mulan lasted about a year and around 1,000 people auditioned, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The remake is based on the 1998 animated film of the same name and follows a young Chinese girl who impersonates a man so that she can enlist in the army.
