On Sunday night at the MTV VMAs, fans of The Hills were given the announcement that they've been waiting years for.
MTV confirmed that the hit reality show is making a comeback. The Hills: New Beginnings will feature some of the original cast members and is expected to premiere in 2019.
Yesterday, it was revealed that Lauren Conrad was not among those confirmed to take part in the upcoming episodes. It appears things are very much up in the air for another main character.
According to E! News, Brody Jenner is still in chats about making a return to the show. A source revealed to them "MTV wants Brody. Without Lauren Conrad especially, the show needs Brody. He was the male lead of the show."
The source added "Brody is potentially interested and is currently in discussions with MTV."
Brody recently tied the knot with his long-term partner, Kaitlynn.
Meanwhile, Whitney Port confirmed her return to the show. Taking to Instagram, Whitney posted a throwback to her first appearance at the MTV VMAs and revealed she'll be taking part when the show hits our screens next year.
There'll be no LC, but we'll all be glued to the telly regardless.
