The Sopranos are coming back.
After an 11 year hiatus the series creator David Chase has confirmed that a movie is in the works.
He has collaborated once again with Sopranos writer Lawrence Kenner for a prequel which is currently titled The Many Saints Of Newark.
The story will be set in 1960s during the time of the Newark riots and the plot will centre around the crime organisation in the run up to the events of the series.
Some of the original characters will feature including Tony Soprano's father Giovanni (Johnny Boy) and uncle Junior.
The cast and release date have yet to be revealed.
