Three things to watch on TV this week:
1) Celebrity Masterchef, BBC One, Wednesday at 8pm
Of all the formats that Masterchef has....we think this is our fav! Celeb Masterchef is back on our screens this Wednesday night - 20 celebs with an interest in cooking battle it out to take home the title. Among the celebs taking part this year are Rachel Stevens, presenter Ulrika Jonsson, Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington, snooker player Stephen Hendry and Kate Bottley from Gogglebox. In Wednesday's episode the first five celebs will undergo three rounds to see who will make it through to the next round on Friday.
2) The Big Family Cooking Showdown, BBC Two, Tuesday at 8pm
So this is the BBC's answer to filling it's Great British Bake Off hole- after Channel 4 took it over last year. While the title just doesn't have the same ring- it doesn't mean this new series won't be a success. Presented be Zoe Ball and Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain- the show meets two families who face food challenges both at home and in the studio. Judges Giorgio Locatelli and Rosemary Shrager hen decide which family will make it through to the next round.

3) The Defenders, Netflix, From Friday
Netflix and Marvel entertainment have teamed up for this eight part series- following the four Defenders- Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. These four 'outsider' superheroes have one common goal- to save New York City and realise they'd be much stronger if they team up together. For those as confused as we are about all these superhero movies/TV shows....YES they are part of the same work as the Avengers but don't cross paths in this series. Sigourney Weaver plays the baddie in this one, called Alexandra.
