Upon the release of one of the biggest movies of 2017, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone appeared on Graham Norton's red couch last night, to promote La La Land.
Graham prompted them, and asked them about taking their mothers to award ceremonies.
Ryan told the tale of when he brought his mum along as his plus one, and she sported a rather awkward hairstyle. He didn't want her to feel bad, so he got Meryl Streep involved and did a really generous thing.
Just when you think he couldn't get any cuter.
