Faye's got to do what's right for her.

Faye Winter is hoping to freeze her eggs, only weeks after splitting with Teddy Soares.

The pair had been coupled up since their time on Love Island in 2021, with Faye sharing she "honestly believed he was my soulmate."

The 27 year-old has admit that while she has "work-related things to look forward to," her hope now is to start planning for her future family.

Opening up about the decision, Faye said, "Personally, I want to start my journey of freezing my eggs and giving myself some time to fall in love with this new life."

The Love Island star has admit that being single for the first time since she shot to fame has been "such a change" for her to cope with.

"Now I’m at a point where I’m starting to find myself on my own in this world, I want to fall in love with that," she said.

Life since leaving the villa has been a whirlwind for the star, and Faye shared that she's "come to terms" with not having her life figured out yet.

"One thing I’ve really learned in the last two years is you can’t plan your future. I’m just going to see if I can make it work," she confessed.

"You’re very much made to believe nowadays that you should have everything figured out by 27, but I don’t yet, and that’s OK."

Why Did The Couple Split?

Sharing the news of their split on Instagram, Faye wrote that it took a lot of "time and consideration" for the popular couple to part ways. In the weeks since, she's realised their fame may have contributed to the break-up.

"We’re from very different worlds and we were trying to build a relationship in this very high-pressure environment," Faye told OK! Magazine.

"We got moulded together, but we had different dreams and ambitions and I had to respect Teddy’s. We were so similar and we got on so well – he’ll forever have a very special place in my heart – and it feels like I’m grieving someone."

The split has been tough for Faye, as she believed they could be together forever.

"It’s so hard. I honestly believed he was my soulmate. It’s always hard to come to terms with these things and him not being there to build a life with," Faye explained.

"But you have to respect each other. It’s a loss, but you’ve got to keep on moving forwards."
