Brooklyn Beckham's ex girlfriend Lexy Panterra has shared her thoughts on his engagement news.

She told The Sun this week that he's, 'way too immature,' for marriage.

Lexy said she was, 'shocked and confused,' when she first heard he was engaged to Nicola Peltz.

She said, 'It's not something anyone was expecting and, honestly, Brooklyn is not ready for that.'

'He is very young and way too immature.'

She continued, 'I don’t know why he falls in love every few minutes.'

'There is no consistency in his relationships.'

'He has a new chick every month, so it’s surprising he would try to do this,' Lexy added.

Lexy said she never talked about marriage with her ex, 'I would never have considered marrying Brooklyn. For what?'

'There is nothing he could have brought to the table beside his family’s money and I don’t need that.'

'I have my own money and I’m happy with it. If I wanted money I should have gone after Cristiano Ronaldo.'

Lexy and Brooklyn

Lexy and Brooklyn met at Coachella in 2017 and ended up dating for about a year.

She said she really admired his passion for photography, 'I liked that side of him.'

Unfortunately, they couldn't make their long distance relationship work.

He divided his time between New York and the UK, while she was living in LA.

She told The Sun, 'We are not together any more because of his immature ways and him not being a good friend.'

'I don’t want to say exactly why we split. I don’t want to bash him. The long distance thing was a factor for sure.'

It seems the age gap also played a big part in the split - she's 31 and he's 21.

She said, 'It was a relationship that I could never take seriously, to be honest. The age gap was a big deal.'
