Barbie Ferreira responds to speculation and reports
After months of reports claiming a toxic work environment on the Euphoria season two set, Kat actress Barbie Ferreira is speaking out.
In an interview with Insider, she insisted a lot of what's being said is, 'untrue.'

Among the reports is a claim Barbie and show creator Sam Levinson clashed heads over the direction of her character.
Production sources alleged to The Daily Beast that the actress stormed off set at least two times.
And the show only added fuel to the fire by allowing Barbie's character take a backseat this season despite having such a big role in season one.
Barbie comments on reports
Barbie told Insider: 'What’s interesting about this season is there are so many more eyes on it that even the news cycle has been so interesting to see.'
'I’ve seen so many different things and a lot of it is untrue, and some of it’s kind of like mundane little things.'
'I really think that the fans are really passionate and I do appreciate that because Euphoria has really impacted so many people.'

She continued, 'Sometimes, things take on a life of their own, and they’re not rooted in the truth, but it’s okay because I know it’s just out of passion and out of curiosity and all that good stuff. And I signed up for it.'

HBO has also denied reports of a toxic on set environment.
In a statement to Variety, they said, 'The well-being of cast and crew on our productions is always a top priority.'
'The production was in full compliance with all safety guidelines and guild protocols.'

'It’s not uncommon for drama series to have complex shoots, and COVID protocols add an additional layer.'
