SPIN X No Excuses
Over the last number of weeks, SPIN has been working with the Government of Ireland’s No Excuses campaign.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of sexual violence and hopes to prevent domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.
The Zoo Crew spoke to Cliona Saidlear of the Rape Crisis Network Ireland. She explained exactly what sexual violence and sexual harassment is.
They also then spoke to Vera O'Leary of Kerry Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre about the impact the pandemic has had on sexual violence and domestic abuse.
Finally, The Zoo Crew spoke to Noeline Blackwell of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. Noeline spoke about the lasting effects sexual violence and harassment can have on victims.
Enough is enough.
Let’s stop excusing sexual harassment and sexual violence.
