An investigation is continuing into the death of Lorna Woodnutt, who was attacked in her home in Offaly on Friday.
The incident happened in Rahan, just outside of Tullamore.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged in connection with her violent death.
He appeared at Tullamore District Court overnight and has been remanded to appear before the court again on Wednesday.
Video footage of the incident appeared online following the attack, and Gardaí are asking the public to delete any copies that may still be circulating on social media.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee, meanwhile, is reminding people who may have access to the video that it is a criminal offence to share the footage.
"To think that people would share this, you know, it's hard to understand but it's just to remind people that this is a crime that has happened to somebody and to ask them to rethink if they come into the possession of this material, that they do not share it".
