An investigation is underway after a 17-year-old boy was assaulted in Bluebell yesterday evening.
He was set upon by a gang of men and teenagers outside a shop on La Touche Road.
The teenager is being treated for head injuries in Beaumont Hospital.
Gardaí have described his condition as serious.
No arrests have been made to date, but investigations are ongoing.
