CAO Round One offers come out today.
Just over 89,000 people have applied for courses, including around 51,000 Leaving Cert 2025 students.
Results issue at 2pm, through the CAO portal, with offers for both Level 6/7 and Leven 8 choices expected to be sent by email.
Students will be able to choose one course to accept.
The deadline for reply is September 3rd at 3pm.
Round Two offers will issue at 2pm on the 8th of September, with the deadline for reply on the 10th of September at 3pm.
This round is to fill any remaining vacancies, including some people who may have appealed their Leaving Cert results.
Eileen Keleghan from the CAO said, "Applicants, if deemed eligible, will receive an offer of the course highest on their list on either their level 8 or level 7/6 or both,"
"You can only receive one offer per list so you may be in the position where you receive a level 8 offer and a level 7/6 offer and you can only accept one offer per offer round."
A small number of courses have already been sent in Round A and Round Zero, including some mature applicants, deferred applicants or nursing and midwifery applicants.
From tomorrow you can also apply to 'Available Places', which come out after Round Two.
