Looks like a few VIPs will have a clear day in their diaries on May 19th.

It has emerged that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not invited Prime Minister Theresa May or Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn to their wedding next month.

A source close to the Royal Family said that wedding guests will be who have an existing direct relationship with one or both of the couple.

Prince Harry's official spokesman said: "It has been decided that an official list of political leaders both UK and international - is not required for Prince Harry and Ms Markle's wedding.

As well as May and Corbyn not getting an invite, US President Donald Trump and former president Barack Obama also missed out.

The Obama one is a slight surprise given Prince Harry's relationship with the Obama family as a result of the Invictus Games.

600 guests they have a direct relationship with to witness their marriage on May 19th at Windsor Castle's St George's Chapel.
