A woman has been seriously injured following a shooting in south Dublin today.
The incident occurred in the Bluebell area of Inchicore, Dublin 8, earlier this afternoon.
A woman has been taken to St James's Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
Gardaí are currently at the scene and it has been preserved for a technical examination.
They say their investigations are ongoing.
