A woman in her 50s has been struck by a car in South Dublin.
She was taken to hospital after being knocked down in Rathmines early this morning.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
The woman was struck by a taxi on Leinster Road just after 1am.
She was taken by ambulance to St James Hospital - the extent of her injuries are not yet known.
Gardai are examining the crime scene this morning and local traffic diversions are in place.
