Trinity College have agreed to revoke their decision to introduce a €450 fee for repeat exams.

The College board came to the decision at a meeting earlier today.

In a statement, Trinity revealed a committee of students and college officers will now examine alternatives to the proposal.

They have also agreed to give 'fee certainty' to postgraduate students and other students who pay full fees at undergraduate level.

Protests were carried out earlier this month by students in the Dining Hall on campus as well as the blocking of exits and tourist access to the Book of Kells.
