Status RED Snow And Ice Warning Extended Until 6pm Friday

A status red snow and ice warning is in place across the entire country. 

Met Eireann have now extended that warning in Leinster and Munster until 6pm Friday, March 2nd

Their website reads: 
"Blizzard conditions tonight and during Friday in Leinster and Munster. Southern and eastern coastal counties expected to receive exceptionally high accumulations.

Issued:Thursday 01 March 2018 18:59

Valid:Thursday 01 March 2018 19:00 to Friday 02 March 2018 18:00."

Luas, Dublin Bus and Irish Rail announced earlier today that they will not be operating tomorrow, March 2nd. 

Dublin Airport remains open tonight, however, all flights in an out have been cancelled until Saturday, March 3rd.
