Mark Hamill will be the first International Guest of Honour for this year's St. Patrick's Festival.
The Star Wars actor will view the parade in Dublin from the Presidential stand.
Hamill - who's best known for his role as Luke Skywalker - has been here several times recently filming the latest episodes in the Star Wars franchise.
Susan Kirby, St. Patrick’s Festival CEO said:
“The role of International Guest of Honour is something we have been considering for a few years."
We presume @HamillHimself will decide where he'd like to park his X-Wing & we will welcome him as we do visitors from all over the galaxy. He could park it on the apron and use the force to cloak it perhaps. #StPatricksFest #StarWars https://t.co/ux7mQT2NOb
