Ryanair Flight Makes Emergency Flight Following Bomb Scare

A Ryanair flight from Dublin to Poland had to make an emergency landing in Germany after a bomb threat

This plane left the capital yesterday evening and made an emergency landing in Berlin at around 7pm Irish time.

The 160 people on board had to leave the Boeing 737 and federal police searched the plane along with sniffer dogs.

The passenger's baggage was also searched but nothing was found.

A replacement plane was sourced and the passengers then resumed their journey, after a seven-hour delay to Krakow in Poland.

Ryanair has apologised to all those affected – describing it as an unavoidable delay outside their control.

It comes a week after a Ryanair flight was forced to divert to Belarus where an opposition journalist was arrested on arrival.
