Ryan Tubridy has come under fire after his 'tasteless' comments on Irish football captain Seamus Coleman.
Commenting on a graphic image of Coleman's leg break in a World Cup Qualifier on Friday's Late Late Show, Tubridy joked 'bend it like Beckham.'
A furious response followed on social media with many describing the comment as 'crass' and 'tasteless.'
A spokesperson for RTE declined to comment on whether the 44 year old will apologise.
