Russell Brand's mother was rushed to hospital following a hit-and-run in car crash in Essex.
According to reports, Barbara was travelling in the back of a chauffeur-driven car when it crashed with another car near Brentwood, Essex on Thursday morning.
The chauffeur was taken to hospital and treated for injuries, as was Barbara.
Essex Police have said that their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Russell postponed his gig at His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen after hearing the news.
