The Government is expected to set out a plan in just over a week.

Hotelier Lorraine Sweeney says it's been a tough year.

"We've missed March, which kicks off the season."

Adding to that, Lorraine says, "In one of my hotels we normally do 100 weddings a year."

"We lost that last year, we've lost it this year too."

The Irish Hairdressers Federation says some members would like to open earlier for those who are fully vaccinated.
