A poll of 2,000 people has found that adults over the age of 50 are the most content with other lives.
The over 50 age bracket reports strong relationships and enjoys having free time to spend on hobbies and interests.
This along with the feeling of being debt-free and knowing their children are happy is important.

A huge factor towards the happiness of over 50s was the fact they tend to go away more often.
More than one in ten reported a more active sex life than they had before.
Three-quarters of those surveyed said they went on holidays or minibreaks at least four times a year.
The research was conducted by Warner Leisure Hotels, which is based in the UK.
