A man's body has been found in Ballymun.
The remains were discovered in the Balbutcher Lane area just before 11 am.
His body is still at the scene pending a technical examination and Gardaí say the age of the victim has not yet been confirmed.
The discovery comes just hours after a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in Coolock.
Gardaí are asking anyone with information to contact them.
