A manhunt is underway after a sexual assault occured on the Southside this week.
The attack happened near the Bayview estate on the Killiney Hill Road at around 5:45pm on Monday. It's the second attack in the area since the beginning of the year
The woman in her 40s was walking from the dart station when it happened. She managed to fight off the attacker who then ran down the Killiney Hill Road.
She received minor injuries, which did not need hospital treatment.
Its hoped that CCTV may have picked up the assailant and Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
