Some readers may find the following report distressing.

He "Destroyed My Life" Says Victim

Peter Loughran and the woman matched on Tinder in late 2017.

After chatting online for a week or two, they met at her apartment in Dublin on January 5th 2018.

The court heard Loughran became aggressive while they were kissing and she got scared and asked him to leave.

What he did next “destroyed her life,” she said.

She described how he repeatedly banged her head off the floor and raped her in her bedroom.

She said he slapped her at one point when she tried to cover her face while he was filming her.

Her nightmare only came to an end when he panicked after she pretended to faint in the bathroom.

Loughran initially denied the allegations.

He was claiming the sexual contact between them had been consensual.
