Paragliding accident
A man has died following an apparent paragliding accident in Co. Wicklow.
The man, who was aged in his 30s, failed to return to his North Dublin home last night after he is spent the day paragliding over the Wicklow mountains.
A search operation involving Gardaí, the Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue team and an Irish Coast Guard Rescue was launched.
At around 8am this morning, the man's body was discovered in a field at Ballinacor Estate in Wicklow.
Wreckage was also located at the scene.
The Air Accident Investigation Unit has been notified of the incident and an investigation is due to get underway.
