A man in his 30s has died in Walkinstown.
The man was driving in a silver volvo when he crashed into a steel barrier at 9pm last night.
He made his was to Templemanor Close, knocked on the door of a number of houses and forced his way into two houses on Templemanor Drive.
Gardaí arrived at the scene and the man became aggressive and Gardaí were required to arrest and restrain him.
As he was being removed from the house he became unresponsive and medical assistance was called.
He was taken to Tallaght Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
