Gardai have arrested a man in relation to a robbery of a shop in Stepaside last night.
They were alerted to the scene at around 2:30am and noticed cash and stock missing from the shop upon arrival. Two men were seen leaving the scene in a silver car.
Roughly an hour later, a man was arrested by Gardai in the St Patricks Crescent area of Dun Laoghaire who was seen running from a car matching the earlier mentioned description.
Items believed to have been stolen at some stage during the robbery were reported to have been found after a search of the car.
The arrested man is being held at Dun Laoghaire Garda Station.
